The Student Loan Forgiveness Act of 2012

Hi,

Total outstanding student loan debt in America is expected to exceed $1 TRILLION this year. Millions of hardworking, taxpaying, educated Americans are being crushed under the weight of the educational debts, while the economy continues to sputter. Support a REAL Economic Stimulus and Jobs Plan. Support The Student Loan Forgiveness Act of 2012

That’s why I signed a petition to Rep. John Kline (MN-2), The United States House of Representatives, and 2 others.

Will you sign this petition? Click here:

Thanks!

As a college student, I am happy to see a bill to help relieve educational debt. Over the past couple years students have felt the harsh effects of this economy ranging from larger class sizes, cancelled classes, cut in faculty, and most importantly rise in tuition. I personally am enraged that because of the budget cuts, my graduation date has been pushed back. Then once we do graduate, we face a poor and competitive job market and hope to secure a good paying job in order to pay off our debt. Let us spread the word and help our future generation of college students and insure the future for those to come.

I’m having a lot of trouble with my personal essay for my college applications.

I’m probably over thinking it a lot but I want it to be the perfect essay. I really need to get this done, though, so I can apply to college but also have normal internet using back.

So yeah, all these posts I’m reblogging are pretty much all from my queue. Gah I really need to get back for my blogs and also ‘cause I want to tell you all about my college visit and how it went.

Maybe would someone be willing to look over my essay and give their thoughts? Pwease lovely followers/Tumblr as a whole?

Making my theatre portfolio is taking much longer than I anticipated.

There’s just so many pictures, sketches, fabric samples, and show paraphernalia. I don’t even know which ones they’ll want to see or not. I guess I’ll just show up in the office looking like this:

In January it will be just about a whole year since I’ve been involved with a theatre production.

I’ve just realized this. I don’t know if I can handle this, you guys. A whole year.

Just about all of the shows coming up to audition for have performance dates that would conflict with my preparing for college. (College auditions, interviews, tours, etc.) It’s frustrating too because some pretty snazzy sounding plays are coming up. I suppose I’ll just have to be an audience member.

I hope something opens up in the summer because I could totally do something then.

I guess we’ll have to see. But this is the longest time in between shows I’ve ever had and I have a feeling it’s going to get longer.
